Deltagard G is excellent for treating home lawns against various pests. It controls a wide range of surface-feeding pests and perimeter pests. The application rate is 2 to 3 pounds per 1,000 square feet. You can apply it with a conventional spreader or a shaker can.

To treat red imported fire ants, apply up to 1 teaspoon per mound and up to 2 feet around each mound. Add a bit of water to help dissolve the granules and improve control.

This product works well as a perimeter barrier or a broadcast treatment over your entire yard and landscaped areas. One 20-pound bag covers up to 10,000 square feet, making it a great value. For best results, use a hand spreader. Always follow the label instructions.
